Bring Your Procreate Brushes With You

PopCraft now imports .brush and .brushset files — shapes, grain and all the dynamics you've spent years tuning.

Every illustrator has the brush. The one they bought in 2019, tweaked a hundred times, and now can't work without. Asking people to leave that behind to try a new tool is a non-starter.

So we didn't.

Drag, drop, paint

Drop any .brush or .brushset onto the PopCraft canvas. We unzip it, read Procreate's archive, and map every setting we understand onto PopCraft's brush engine:

  • Shape and grain textures, converted to our tip stamps
  • Spacing, jitter and scatter
  • Pressure and tilt curves for size, opacity and flow
  • Streamline and stabilization, for those buttery long strokes

Sets keep their folder names and order, so your library shows up exactly how you organized it.

Smudge, finally

Along with import, we shipped the tool painters asked for most: Smudge. It uses any brush as its tip and drags existing pixels along your stroke instead of laying down new color, with pressure, stabilizer and symmetry all working the way you'd expect.

Go on. Bring the brush.
