Templates

Start from a finished file — anime shorts, music videos, game UI kits, photo slideshows and hundreds more — and make it yours.

Every template is a complete PopCraft file: its pages, styles, brand colours, motion and sound. Opening one makes a new file of your own; the template is never changed. Templates open in the mode they were made for, so an animated one opens in Animate and a game UI kit opens as a prototype.

Find a template

  1. On Home, click New, then File.
  2. Pick a kind in the rail on the left, or type in the search field at the top: it searches names, descriptions and tags across every kind.
  3. Click a template to see it larger, then Use (the button names it).

Lottie-ready narrows the list to templates that export cleanly as Lottie.

Anime shorts

Five short animated scenes in an anime style, each a composition of several shots with effects and music: Duel at Dusk, Morning Light, Neon Rain, Starlight transformation and Titan Launch. Search "anime", or find them under Motion.

  1. Click New, then File, and type anime in the search.
  2. Pick one and click Use.
  3. Press Space to play it. The titles are text and the colours are brand colours: change them like any others.

Music videos

Seven visualizers and lyric videos with PopCraft's own music (made in code, free to use): Lo-fi loop visualizer, EDM drop teaser, Synthwave tunnel visualizer, Hip-hop lyric video, Indie spectrum poster, Podcast audiogram and Festival lineup reveal. Everything in them follows the sound, so replacing the track with your own makes them follow yours. See Audio-reactive motion.

  3. To use your own music, drop a file on the timeline's audio lanes and remove the old clip.

Game UI kits

Nine complete game interfaces, from boot screen to victory screen: a match-3 puzzle, a roguelike deckbuilder, a fantasy RPG, a farming sim, a fighting game, a real-time strategy game, an arcade racer, a rhythm game and a sci-fi shooter. They are working prototypes: menus answer the arrow keys, health bars drain and scores count up, all built from variables and logic. There is also a platformer, Mossy Hollow, whose hero and enemies are animated by state machines.

Photo slideshows

Seven slideshows with music and transitions, for a wedding, a holiday, a trip, a birthday, a baby's first year, a home for sale and a memorial, each a composition of scenes. Swap the pictures for your own and the slideshow keeps its timing and music.
